How to upgrade Progress installation on the same UNIX machine, version 8 only.

FIX:
Follow these steps to upgrade Progress on the UNIX machine:
1) Stop all the Progress processes (databases, Open Interface Broker, AppServer etc).
2) Truncate the before-image files of all your databases using the old version of Progress.
3) Back up your current $DLC.
4) Remove the $DLC directory and all its subdirectories.
5) Install the new Progress version into the same directory. Please refer to the Installation Notes for further details.
6) Restart all Progress processes.
