FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Can't connect to a Win32 Progress database in single-user mode.
The database <file-name> is in use in single-user mode. (263)
CAUSE:
Windows Me was shut down prior to disconnecting from database.
FIX:
1) Remove the dbname.lk file from the working directory.
2) Connect to the database in single-user mode and let the database go through the crash recovery process.
