CAUSE:
Possible DNS hostname resolution problem.
FIX:
To test whether DNS hostname resolution is the problem, change your client startup parameters from:
-H hostname to -H IP_Address
If the use of the IP address speeds up your client/server connection, you'll need to begin researching possible DNS changes within your TCP network.
