SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to run binary dump on online database
Command line for binary dump:
proutil /path to DB/database name -C dump <table name> /dump directory/dump -i
Binary dump command produces no dump files
No errors in database log file or on screen
CAUSE:
HP system did not have the appropriate OS patches required by Progress.
The patches are:XSWGR1100 + PHSS_22543, 22868, 22478
FIX:
Load HP OS patches XSWGR1100 (This OS patch is now refered to as QPK1100)+ PHSS_22543, 22868, 22478
