Getting error: SYSTEM ERROR: bffld: nxtfld: scan past last field. (16)
CAUSE:
There is corruption in the database.
FIX:
Restore the database backup. A second option is to try to dump/load the database. You may have to use 4GL to dump the corrupt tables.
Once the database is back in operation investigate the original database log files for signs of what may have caused the corruption.
