Running SQL Client Access to connect a remote Progress database gives error 89933
Network error on server or client initiation. (8933)
CAUSE:
Database is a 8.3x version therefore it does not support SQL92
FIX:
The SQL Client Access client only supports SQL-92 connections the Progress 8.3x database only supports SQL-89 connections, to eliminate this problem make sure the database server is a version 9.1x or greater.
