SYMPTOM(s):
PROBKUP prompts "Please enter next device/file name or type 'quit' to exit" during backup process
Database is larger than 4GB
Attempting to backup database to a single file
Sufficient disk-space available for backup to succeed
FAT32 filesystem
Possible to use multiple files to backup database
CAUSE:
File exceeds maximum allowed size for FAT32 filesystem. See Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q93496 for more information.
FIX:
Use the -vs option with PROBKUP to control size of each backup file being created during backup.
