GOAL:
How to locate serial and control numbers for Progress installation when the software is no longer installed.
FIX:
1. Restore an Operating System backup of the Progress installation folder.
2. Execute the pathname\bin\showcfg.exe and your serial and control numbers will be displayed. This is because the showcfg.exe reads the information from the progress.cfg file located in the original progress installation directory.
