FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Error installing Progress on windows 95
Unable to acquire information on the file XXXXX
The installation will seem to continue but will fail.
CAUSE:
To install Progress 9.x requires that the CD-ROM used is using a true Win95 driver.
FIX:
Check if you have a "DOS COMPATIBLE CD-ROM" by checked in Control Panel -->
System --> Device manager --> CD-ROM. This cannot be "DOS COMPATIBLE CD-ROM".
To fix the problem either copy the CD to the local disk or get a Win95
driver for the CD-ROM from the manufacturer. Then rerun the SETUP.EXE
