Two databases on system:production and test
Unable to run batch job in background for production database
Pid XXXX received a SIGSEGV for stack growth failure. Possible causes: insufficient memory or swap space, or stack size exceeded maxssiz.
When test database starts up, production database crashes

13:41:18 BROKER 0: Error opening file /path to database.lk, errno = 23. (4029)
CHANGE:
Moved to new HP server; used same kernel settings as older HP system
CAUSE:
HP system log shows vmunix file table is full which means kernel parameters need adjusting upwards to handled all the running processes
FIX:
Adjust the kernel parameters, particularly files (number of open processes).
