CHANGE:
A NetSetup had been done.
CAUSE:
Bug# 20010202-005.
The problem originates with the file "setup.ins" found in the NetSetup directory on your server. Even though the Progress version installed is actually 8.3D -
- The title for the Progress installation shows as 8.3C in the Windows Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PSC\SHARED.
- It also shows in the control panel > add/remove programs as 8.3C.
FIX:
Check the registry entries for the Progress installation and change 8.3C to 8.3D in the registry keys.
