SYMPTOM(s):
SonicMQ: FTP-Bridge not correctly translating special foreign characters
FTP bridge is unable to convert non-7bit characters. i.e: · and · are translated into question marks.
CAUSE:
Looks like the Sonic FTP bridge presumes that the text is a sub-set of UTF16 (like ISO8859-1).
FIX:
Convert data to charset ISO8859-1 before sending it to the FTP-bridge
