Core dump with X11R5 - Xt bug in keyboard.c
Customers have reported core dumps running V7 Motif applications
with X11R5.
If analysis of the stacktrace indicates the core dump was caused by
a routine in the Xt source file "keyboard.c", the customer should
contact the o.s. vendor to obtain the release of X11R5 that
incorporates Fix #26 from MIT.
There is a known bug within the Xtooklkit layer of X11R5 which will
produce inconsistent behavior (intermittent core dumps). The bug is
reproduced by a user selecting keys which cause a window to be
destroyed and a new one to be created. The problem is caused by a bug
in the Xt layer. Specifically it is caused by an error in keyboard.c.
