V7 scripts on Bedford network from Development
920619-elp01The following scripts exist in $DLC for starting v7 PROGRESS
(as of 27 May 1992).
They are installed in 7.0D and 7.0E.
The scripts are intended to work for end users with minimal
environment set up. That is, they only need the $DLC environment
variable and nothing else.
Some of the scripts are also intended for use within development
with one of these environments:
rdl 7
rdl 7 windows
rdl 7 windows ade
The scripts are:
pro, mpro
end-users - runs char mode PROGRESS
rdl 7 - runs char mode PROGRESS
rdl 7 windows - runs GUI PROGRESS
rdl 7 windows ade - runs GUI PROGRESS
bpro, mbpro
end-users - runs char mode PROGRESS in batch
rdl 7 - runs char mode PROGRESS in batch
rdl 7 windows - runs GUI PROGRESS in batch
rdl 7 windows ade - runs GUI PROGRESS in batch
proade, mproade
end-users - runs the ADE under GUI PROGRESS
rdl 7 - N/A: Must use rdl 7 windows ade
rdl 7 windows - N/A: Must use rdl 7 windows ade
rdl 7 windows ade - runs the ADE under GUI PROGRESS
prowin, mprowin
end-users - runs GUI PROGRESS
developers - N/A: Must use rdl 7 windows and
either pro or mpro
