Server hanging in SPX without error messages - no memory

900709-SAL01There is a bug in the SPX version of 5.2I that will cause the server
to run out of memory. The problem is a result of a 1400 byte buffer
that is not being released each time a user logs off. After a large
amount of login/logoffs the server may run out of memory on account
of the lost space. The error usually results in either the server
hanging or recieving a 706 error code 4. Be careful to check the
IPX sockets and SPX connections in the shell.cfg if the server is
hanging, as they too can cause the server to hang. There is a patch
available for this SPX problem 5.2I14, that contains new server
and client executables.
