Data is not refreshed when using SQL89 connection.
Updating the record or adding one via 4GL client doesn't cause that the change is seen immediately in the Crystal Reports or Excel via ODBC.
When the brokers are restarted the new or updated records are found.
Open Interface Broker started in read only mode.
CAUSE:
It's a known problem. There are some troubles with refreshing data while using SQL89 when the broker was started in read only mode (-RO). The refresh takes even couple hours.
FIX:
Start the OIBroker without -RO parameter or upgrade your connection to SQL92.
