System hang during task completion or compile Roundtable

INTRODUCTION:
=============
The task completion process does many steps before completing the
objects on the task.
POSSIBLE CAUSE OF ERROR:
========================
Unix permissions may cause the system to hang during completion.
Objects that are in use by another process may cause the system to
hang.
CORRECTIVE MEASURES:
====================
Make sure no other programmers are in the system with that task
selected or compiling objects on that task being completed.
Log in as root and attempt to complete the task. The task completion
process may generate sub-directories. Make sure permissions are set
to allow directory creation.
