Bad connection to database but no error message Roundtable

INTRODUCTION:
=============
When creating a new database object (PDBASE) or assigning a
database object to a new workspace the physical name of the object
must be entered with valid connection parameters. Roundtable doesn't
always give an error when the physical connection is not made.
CORRECTIVE MEASURES:
====================
An error that the database is not connected will be made when ever
Roundtable needs access to the database. When the Cannot connect
to database dbase.db return to the database object and change the
physical connection and connection parameters and ensure no lock
files exist and that servers are running as needed.
