Where is the ProInventory software located?
FIX:
The ProInventory Tool can found be in the prodiag directory at the root of the Progress installation CD starting in service pack 2 for 9.1D and the FCS release of 9.1E. The software is packaged into a .tar or .zip file (depending on the platform). A readme.txt file is also included in the tar or zip file, which contains specific instructions for running the tool.
If the prodiag directory does not exist or you do not have access to the Progress installation CD, ProInventory can be downloaded from the Progress FTP Site at:
ftp://ftp.progress.com/pub/Prodiag/proinventory
From the proinventory directory select the zip file that corresponds to the desired Operating System. The latest version of ProInventory will be available FTP site. This is available to all customers by downloading through "anonymous" login.
