The new Progress Debugger is available as of the 9.1D05 Service Pack. Compared to the old Debugger, it provides 4GL programmers with a modern user interface and easier access to information about the state of their 4GL application code. It still runs on both Windows and UNIX.
The new "Progress Debugger and Diagnostics Guide" describes the new Progress Debugger. It describes how to use the tool to find errors in Progress 4GL applications and techniques for using the Debugger to monitor and control the execution of Progress procedures.
This manual is available, in PDF only. This manual, as well as a Debugger release notes document, is available from the Product Updates and Documentation page located on the Technical Support Web site.
