CAUSE:
The problem is linked to SonicMQ version 3.5 defect Sonic00003877 if security is enabled and QoP set to privacy. It does not happen randomly although looks like that because is depending on the data used within the messages.
FIX:
A workaround is to set QoP different than privacy.
However the problem is also fixed with
SonicMQ 3.5 patch build 157.
