Getting error 138 when trying to insert into a Progress 8.3x database field
Using Progress 9.1B/9.1C client
Progress 9.1B/9.1C client connects to two different databases versions;
Progress 9.1x and 8.3x db
Connect order; CONNECT sports91x first and then CONNECT sports83b
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 8.3x
Progress 9.1B
Progress 9.1C
CAUSE:
Bug# 20010511-020
FIX:
The issue has been fixed in Progress 9.1D
Workaround:
Reverse connection order CONNECT sports83b and then sports91b and then you will be able to update and insert field into Progress 8.3x database.
