SYMPTOM(s):
Dynamics Web interface fails because it cannot obtain a valid handle for the SDO.
After applying service pack 2.0A01 running a simple container that runs fine in GUI mode, fails with an SDO handle error on the Web interface.
CAUSE:
After applying the service pack, somehow the icfconfig.xml file had been overwritten with the default icfconfig.xml file. Since the standard .xml file does not include the application database connections that are normally added to the Web Session type, the SDO has no connection to the database and so cannot instantiate.
FIX:
Replace or re-generate the icfconfig.xml file.
