How to change data type in the UIB? Version 8
How to Change a widget's Data Type in the UIB?

A new feature in the version 8 UIB is that you
can easily change the data type of a widget.
For instance, If you have a fill-in that you
would like represented as a toggle-box, you
can use the ATTRIBUTE button that is in
the UIB panel to do this.
The Attribute button displays the attributes
of the selected widget in a window. In this
attributes window, you can click on the data type
attribute which will display a combo-box at the
top of the window with appropriate data-type
choices. You can select a new type from the
combo-box and either press the CHECKMARK
button which will change it for you OR press
the X button to cancel the change.
