CAUSE:
This is due to corruption of the .p file. The call to the include file in the .p is immediately followed by an unprintable "garbage" character that is not displayed by the Progress procedure editor. Mixing UNIX and GUI file editing on the same file sometimes causes this type of corruption.
FIX:
Putting a space after the call to the include file resolves this issue.
