Sun Solaris 7 64-bit platform:
Versions 8.3B to 8.3E and 9.0B to 9.1C are 32-bit and have been certified to run on Sun Solaris 7 64-bit.
Starting with version 9.1D, there is a dedicated 64-bit port for the 64-bit version of Sun Solaris 2.7.
Please bear in mind that some Solaris patches are needed for Progress to run on Solaris 7: you must install 106327-06 and 106300-07; if you plan to use probuild then you must install 107357-07 and 107311-09 too.
Sun Solaris 8 64-bit platform:
Progress has also certified Progress 32-bit versions 8.3C to 8.3E and 9.1A to 9.1C on Sun Solaris 8 64-bit.
Starting with version 9.1D, there is a dedicated 64-bit port for the 64-bit version of Sun Solaris 2.8.
Sun Solaris 9 64-bit platform:
Only versions 9.1D and later (OE 10.0A and 10.0B) have been certified to run on Sun Solaris 9.
