SYMPTOM(s):
Using batch files to start up and shutdown database
Shutdown script produces error
Shutdown request denied; you do not have the correct user ID. (547)
Scripts run as full Administrator
Shutdown script contains:
_mprshut dbname -F -H host -S service name/port -N TCP.
CHANGE:
Using scripts to automate start and shutdown.
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
Remove -H host, -S service name/port and -N network parameters from script
