Getting security warnings when running a 4GL program
Message:
A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf.
Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose "No".
4GL program is trying to send mail via Microsoft Outlook
CAUSE:
This behavior is expected. Latest Outlook E-mail Security Updates include security features to prevent other programs from accessing your e-mail addresses or sending e-mail messages on your behalf.
FIX:
These prompts are an Outlook security feature and cannot be avoided using 4GL alone.
It may be possible to workaround this behavior by using third party software that will automatically click Yes when these dialog boxes appear. An example of this type of software could be found at:
