FACT(s) (Environment):
HP-UX 11 32-bit
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1C
FACT(s) (Environment):
Oracle 8.1.7
SYMPTOM(s):
Can not start webspeed broker
The webspeed broker connects to Oracle
Running pro produces following errors
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't open shared library: /apps/oracle/orahome/JRE/lib/PA_RISC
ative_threads/libjava.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
$DLC copied from another machine which has exact same directory structure for Progress installation but does not have the same directory structure for ORACLE_HOME
CAUSE:
The _progres was probuilt on the other machine where the ORACLE_HOME is different
FIX:
replace the probuilt _progres with the original _progres. For this version of progress, libclntsh.sl is dynamically loaded, no probuild is necessary unless there are errors with running the original _progres.
