SYMPTOM(s):
Database corruption
The PC is shut down without stopping the database.
CAUSE:
On Windows client machines ( XP home edition, ME, WIN 98 and 95) the DB is not running as a service. The database does not shut down properly if you power off the computer.
FIX:
Shut down the database before powering off the computer.
