Progress V7 (using WINOS2) connecting to NLM Server
If you are using OS/2 Version 2.X or OS/2 Warp (Any Variation),
are running Progress Version 7 software using Win-OS2 and are
connecting to a Progress NLM Server using the SPX protocol
you must install the Netware for OS/2 requester so that it
uses the ODI implementation of IPX. You can verify this by
checking that the CONFIG.SYS file has a reference to a file
named ODINSUP.SYS.
If you do not use the ODI implementation of IPX you will
receive errors on the server stating something like the
following:
Error Reading Socket, User = ____, Return Code = ____.
