Can't print on HP printer with Windows version of PROGRESS
If you have a customer who is having problems printing
with a Windows PROGRESS V6 release, they should check
on the hp driver they are using. If they are using
hppcl5e.drv, with a version prior to 31.v1.30, they may
want to upgrade.
There has been a report of PROGRESS not printing (although
the printer blinks as if receiving data) with older
versions of this print driver after upgrading to a
later release of PROGRESS. After upgrading their
print driver, the problem went away. One specific
example was using 6.2M22 with version 31.v1.03 of the
print driver.
