MAX-CHAR setting on EDITOR widget NOT supported.
SUBJECT: MAX-CHARS on EDITOR widget NOT supported in TTY (char) mode.
DISCRIPTION:
When using the EDITOR widget in TTY mode you will be unable
to set MAX-CHARS. This will prevent developers from limiting
the total characters a user can enter into an editor widget.
WORK AROUND / SOLUTION:
There is currently no work around for this. Development says
they have no plans to modify or fix this behavior. This is
due to problems with Vermont Views. This is not currently
documented.
