SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot see a filesystem in Fathom
Fathom no longer shows the filesystem
Missing filesystem in Fathom -> New Resource Monitor -> File System
Cannot add a new filesystem monitor to Fathom
Resources > Discover File Systems does not find the new filesystem
re-launching the discovery from the disk resource view does not show the filesystem
querying the File system through the diagnostics utility does not report the filesystem
FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
The filesystem is not present in the filesystem table
FIX:
Manually edit filesystem table file and add the (new) filesystem there.
AIX: /etc/filesystems
SOLARIS: /etc/vfstab
HP-UX; LINUX;TRU64: /etc/fstab
Restart AdminServer (and Fathom) afterwards and the osmetrics.dll will pick up the entry from the filesystem table.
