Using UPDATE with VB 3.0 or MSQuery, ODBC
To do an UPDATE in PROGRESS using VB 3.0 or MSQuery with rows that
contain zero length character strings, the 7.3B03 patch must be used.
Additionally, NFLAG=1 will need to be added to the ODBC.ini file
