InstallShield errors installing Service pack 3
FIX:
To successfully install Service Pack 3, validate the following items:
1. Stop AdminServer and ProControl Services.
Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services ->
Locate AdminServer for Progress 9.1D (Right Click and select STOP)
Do the same for ProService for 9.1D.
2. Service Pack has been downloaded to a temporary directory.
3. Service Pack was extracted into a directory other that where Progress
is installed.
4. DLC environment variable is set on a system level.
Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Tab -> Select "Environment Variables"
Button. If DLC is not set, then select "New".
Set Variable to DLC
Set Value to your Progress Installation directory
Select OK to save settings.
5. Then start a command window.
Start -> Run -> Open: type cmd
6. Go to a directory other than where Service Pack was extracted. Type fully
qualified pathname for setup.exe within the Service Pack you downloaded.
