How to Migrate a database from version 9.1C to 9.1D
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
FIX:
If your database has been shutdown properly.
1) Truncate the BI
2) Backup the database.
3) Install version 9.1D
4) Startup the database with version 9.1D
If you database has not been shutdown properly take all possible steps to correct the cause of the abnormal shutdown before migrating to 9.1D.
Do not try to use 9.1D's executables to start up a database that has crashed.
There may be complications which could exacerbate the original problem.
