SYMPTOM(s):
AdminServer fails to start on New installation
No log file is created
The Event log shows: The description for Event ID ( 100 ) in Source ( jvmStart ) cannot be found.
"The directory name is invalid."
CAUSE:
A non physical directory is selected as Working Directory during installation.
FIX:
Changing the registry WorkPath to be a physical path solves the problem.

Value name: WorkPath
Value data: E:\Programs\Progress\91D\WORK
Verify that the value for the WorkPath is a valid physical path.
