SYMPTOM(s):
Getting error 2292 when trying to start database
** Insufficient disk space to extend the before-image file. (2292)
bi extents were all fixed extents.
CHANGE:
A fixed bi extent had been added.
CAUSE:
The last bi extent has to be a variable extent. prostrct add, however, does allow you to add extents that are all fixed.
FIX:
1. Restore the backup that you must have made before doing the prostrct add
2. Ensure when adding bi extents that the last bi extent added is a variable extent.
