Migrating from Progress to Oracle
ProToOra
No DEFAULT values are entered into the SQL Script (.sql) generated by the ProToOra
CHANGE:
Upgraded from Progress 9.0B to Progress 9.1x
CAUSE:
Bug# 20011011-003
CAUSE:
In Progress 9.0B09 (on NT only) and Progress 9.1A commercial release, due to a bug with the DEFAULT clause generated by the ProToOra utility, Progress decided to no longer include DEFAULT values into the SQL script generated by the ProToOra utility since the Progress client automatically fills in the initial value from the schema holder when creating a record in Oracle. However, in version 9.1D, Progress reviewed this decision and opted to add a toggle-box to the ProToOra's initial screen so that the user has a choice to include DEFAULT values within the SQL script
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 9.1D
