Access to specified device, file denied - Windows 95
If a customer is trying to run our standard MS-Windows product under
Windows 95, and they receive an error when running _proutil, _dbutil
they may need to modify the properties of the MSDOS box that they are
running it from. Do the following, highlight the icon, select
PROPERTIES, in the memory tab press the ADVANCED button. In this
dialog box, choose the first toggle box titled, don't detect Windows.
This will allow any PROGRESS protected mode executable to run
correctly.
