The README.PAT file was not included with the 9.1C21 patch on Sun Solaris SPARC.
The installation instructions are missing from the 9.1C21 patch.
CAUSE:
A README.PAT file is typically bundled with Progress 9.1Axx through 9.1Cxx patches. However, with the release of the 9.1C21 patch for Sun Solaris, this file was missing.
FIX:
A README.PAT file provides a list of the files that are contained within a Progress 9.1Axx through 9.1Cxx patch, as well as instructions on how to apply the patch. However, if the README.PAT file is missing from any Progress 9.1Axx through 9.1Cxx patch file or there is any uncertainty in regards to the patch application process, the instructions from another 9.1Axx through 9.1Cxx README.PAT patch file can be used.
