On both UNIX servers, the OIB broker shuts down as soon as ODBC on Windows tries to connect and get errors 1432 et 2575.

Starting an OIB broker on Windows works
Remote connection from 4GL to UNIX server no problem.
CAUSE:
DLC environment variable was set wrong on the UNIX machine.
FIX:
Set the DLC environment variable correctly within the session on the UNIX machine.
