GOAL:
How to save a .dsn file onto a UNIX machine from Windows
FIX:
When configuring a Data Source using the ODBC Data Source Administrator you may want to create a File DSN and save it on a remote UNIX machine as opposed to the default local C:\Program Files\Common Files\ODBC\Data Sources.
In this case there needs to be some sharing software such as Samba installed on the UNIX box to make it visible from Windows.
