OSF name change to Digital Unix

Digital Equipment Corporation recently announced a name change
of their Unix Operating system. It used to be called OSF/1 and
is now called Digital Unix.
The OSF/1 v3.0 release is comparable to Digital Unix v3.0.
PROGRESS 6.3C03 currently supports Digital Unix (OSF/1)
versions 2.0 and higher up to but NOT including 3.2. This
certification is currently being scheduled and is expected
to be completed somtime during q3 '95.
Digital and PROGRESS support Digital Unix 3.0B. Digital has
recently announced an end of life plan for Digital Unix 2.x so
we expect that they will continue to support 3.0B for another
12 months or so.
Bottom Line - PROGRESS 6.3C03 and Digital Unix 3.0B is fully
supported by both Progress and Digital.
