SYMPTOM(s):
Shared memory in use by another process. (1260)
When using promon to connect to database received message There is no server for database <dbname>. (1423)
NEGATED SYMPTOM(s):
Does not have duplicate inode.
FIX:
Due to other problems exhibited by this installation a suggestion was made to uninstall and re-install the entire Progress product.
This seems to have resolved all errors experienced by client.
