SYMPTOM(s):
WebClient application startup takes a long time to complete
After clicking on the WebClient application icon it takes 1 minute before the application starts
CAUSE:
The LAN Settings have the automatic configuration switched on, causing the time delay while detecting the proxy-server settings.
FIX:
In the Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings - Automatic configuration, the option 'Automatically detect settings' should be switched of.
