Error 22018 ibm driver odbc decimal field
Removing -E or changing SESSION:NUMERIC-FORMAT does not help
CAUSE:
This error usually happens when the decimal symbol on the system settings is not period (.). (Regional Settings > Number > Decimal symbol)
FIX:
It is very likely that you are using the IBM ODBC driver, since this should not be a problem when you are using the Progress DB2 driver provided with the Enterprise ODBC DataServer license.
There is a setting in the IBM ODBC driver that you have to turn on to avoid the error.

1) Go to the ODBC Administrator, select the data source you have set up and click on the Configure button.
2) You might click NO on the login screen. Then click on the Advanced button.
3) Go to the Service tab, and under Known Workarounds PATCH2, select 'Always use period for decimal separator in character output'.
