proadsv crashes with the following errors on the screen:

A javacore file is generated
Javacore file reads:
SIGSEGV received at 0xd0a7ec1c in /usr/java131/jre/bin/libjitc.a. Processing terminated.
Java 1.3.1 is installed.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D
IBM AIX
CAUSE:
The Java version is not supported. Progress 9.1D requires Java 1.3.0 PTF 9a or higher.
FIX:
Install Java 1.3.0. Please see Progress Solution P100134 for further information on how to get Java 1.3.0 for AIX.
