GOAL:
What are the values in the _server-type field of the _server VST and what do they represent?
FIX:
The _server-type field can have a total of four values. These values are Login, Auto, Manual, and Inactive.
"Login" is a login broker started by the user via the command line. This includes brokers started with the -m3, secondary login broker. These brokers automatically spawn on "inactive" servers. These remain "inactive" until a remote user connects at which time they are changed to "Auto. Further "auto" servers are spawned for each subsequent remote client connection until the Maximum Server (or max server per broker) value is reached. "Manual" servers (-m2) are used to manually start a remote user server after starting a broker. Each Login broker automatically spawns an "inactive" server.
_Server-type in not related to the -ServerType parameter. For a more complete description of Auto, Manual, Login servers see the Startup Command and Parameter Reference Guide.
